About

Sam is the second best British player in the UK’s - and world’s - fastest-growing sport.

Sam left his home in Essex, England at 16 and went on to train and compete in the United Arab Emirates, Barcelona, Marbella and, now, the Spanish capital Madrid, where he is mixing it with the world’s padel elite. As one of the leading lights in UK padel, this avid traveller is on an upward journey in a sport that is starting to turn heads right across the world.

Now, seven years on from leaving home, and at the age of just 23, his career is on a fast upward trajectory. His recent victory alongside fellow Team GB teammate Louie Harris at the debut 2023 tournament of Britain’s HOP Tour in Harrogate, England, has cemented his status as one of the UK’s leading padel lights in the men’s game.

At the professional level, Sam is an ambitious individual driven to reach the highest echelons of world padel.

At the grassroots level, he wants to teach his learnings to others and encourage other young people in the UK and other new padel nations to take up this incredible, exhilarating sport.

And at the personal level, well he’s an avid supporter of English Football Club, Tottenham Hotspur - AKA ‘Spurs’ - and can regularly be seen enjoying, or enduring (!) 90 minutes watching his favourite players at the team’s ground in North London!
